2012 New York State Rowing Championships

"The Liverpool High School Rowing athletes and coaches agreed to team up with the Upstate Golisano's Children Hospital for this year's fund raising erg-a-thon. Within our local rowing community, it was recently made known that the daughter of Justin Moore, who is the Syracuse University's Women's Rowing coach, has cancer. Mackenzie and her family have asked us to direct our fund raising efforts to support the Upstate Golisano's Children Hospital resource room. This room offers many distractions for the children who are under going treatment such as books, activities & crafts to past the time. So, on behalf of Mackenzie Moore, we will share the proceeds with the Upstate Golisano's Children Hospital Resource room.

This year's Alumni Row date is July 21, 2012.
Show up at the boathouse at 10 AM.
Mingle, talk, make up boats and go out for a row.

IMPORTANT: If you did not row for the Liverpool Program last season, then you should follow the schedule for the 9th grade program.
Monday March 25th Important meeting at Chestnut Hill Elementary School for all parents and athletes.
6PM in the school cafeteria. This is the only meeting we request everyone to attend. We need to hand out information for the season and answer your questions. The Syracuse Chargers will briefly explain their role in all of this and had out shirts for the athletes. It will be over by 7 PM
The boys varsity and frosh will not practice today; this counts as their practice.

The O.A.R. Awards
The O.A.R Award can be awarded to anyone who has invested time, money or energy into the Liverpool Rowing Program. The winners receive a certificate and a 14" miniature oar painted in the Liverpool design.
